Edition A consists of ten bound copies Edition B consists of fifty copies contained in a portfolio.Each set consists of twenty etchings, with aquatint.
All the etchings are signed and numbered by the artist.
Edition A is numbered 1/60 to 10/60 Edition B is numbered 11/60 to 60/60
There are five artist’s proof copies of Edition A and ten artist’s proof copies of Edition B, marked A/P
Edition A has descriptive notes on each species bound together with the etchings. Both Editon A and Edition B are accompanied by a booklet with text on each species compiled by Rosemary Low.
Each set contains a title page, content page and impression.
The etchings have been printed by Graham Wilkins on T.H. Saunders deckle edge paper. The text is hand set by the artist and R. Hart in Baskerville 24pt. The bindings and portfolios were made at the Royal College of Art, London.
